Bank employee hit in head during violent bank robbery

PORT ORANGE —
A bank employee was injured during a robbery Thursday morning after one of the suspects hit him in the head with a handgun.
Port Orange Police said just after 9 a.m. three suspects armed with handguns entered the PNC Bank located at 1090 Dunlawton Avenue and became violent.
Investigators said one of the suspects hit an employee on the head with a firearm. The bank employee sustained a laceration to the back of his head and was treated at the scene and released.
The suspects fled the bank on foot southeast with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspects are described as follows:
Suspect 1: Black male, 5’6 to 5’10, athletic build, wearing black loose fitting hooded long sleeve sweat shirt, black-dark denim baggy jeans, white sneakers, black ski mask, and black gloves. A red bandanna was partially exposed from his left front pocket. Suspect was armed with a silver handgun.
Suspect 2: Black male, 5’6 to 5’10, athletic build, wearing black short sleeve shirt, black-dark denim jeans, dark sneakers, black baseball style hat with white writing on the front, black cloth covering his face, carrying a black bag. Suspect was armed with black handgun.
Suspect 3: Black male, 5’8 to 5’11, thin athletic build, wearing black hooded long sleeve sweat shirt, dark gray long cargo shorts, dark sneakers, black ski mask, and black gloves.
