Neighbor helps woman after robbery

PORT ORANGE, Fla. —A neighbor tackled a man who allegedly robbed a Port Orange woman early Sunday morning.
Albert Edwards, 55, was arrested after police arrived on the scene.
Police said Edwards was riding his bike when he stopped on Spruce Creek Road and Tropic Drive and asked an acquaintance walking home from the store to hold something for him.
When the woman complied, police said Edwards snatched $60 out of her hand.
Authorities said before Edwards could get far, the victim’s neighbor tackled him and held him on the ground.
Edwards pulled out a knife, but another neighbor kicked it away, police said.
Edwards is charged with robbery with a deadly weapon.
