bildeThe Daytona Beach man whose video of raw meat placed near a Dumpster at a Port Orange Golden Corral went viral is sitting in the Volusia County Branch Jail, officials say.

Brandon Huber, 22, was arrested by Daytona Beach police shortly before 7:30 p.m. Monday and charged with violating his probation, court records show. He is currently serving five years of probation after pleading no contest to burglary of an unoccupied dwelling in 2010.
Huber’s video of conditions at the Golden Corral restaurant went viral earlier this month and prompted a state investigation and the manager’s firing. Officials have cited what occurred at the Port Orange restaurant as an isolated incident.
Huber’s father, William Huber, said his son was stopped at the McDonald’s near Tomoka Farms Road and U.S. 17-92, the same McDonald’s he said his son recorded a video at after receiving an apple pie with a bite already taken out of it.
William Huber said his son is still on paid leave from Golden Corral and his job at a Denny’s restaurant, also in Port Orange, is being held for him.
Court records show Brandon Huber is scheduled to be arraigned Aug. 7
