Two $60K school buses stolen from Flagler high school

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. —Just as schools are getting ready to welcome kids back to classes, the Flagler County School District finds itself down two school buses.:
School officials alerted the sheriff’s department on Monday that two school buses were stolen from a lot behind Flagler Palm Coast High School on July 27.
Staffers were getting ready to do some mechanical work on one of the buses and couldn’t find it on the lot. They checked the GPS and found it wasn’t responding.
Employees then checked surveillance video and saw that not one but two buses were stolen.
The buses were last seen driving out and on toward State Road 100.
The GPS devices in both buses have been disabled.
The buses are valued at $60,000 each.
