Deltona man, 18, calls 911 to complain about authorities

DELTONA, Fla. —A Deltona man was booked into jail after calling 911 to report a group of people aggravating him.
Who did he complain about? Volusia County Sheriff’s Office deputies.
Marquell Tillmon, 18, was taken into custody Friday just after 11 p.m. from a home on Santee Avenue.
Deputies said a loud party was going on at the Santee home, and that someone reported a fight involving a knife there as deputies passed the residence.
The deputies stopped and knocked on the door, but no one answered. Fearing someone was hurt, the deputies said they entered the home and announced their presence.
Deputies said Tillmon was apparently annoyed by their presence, so he confronted them. That’s when Tillmon told the deputies to leave the home and then called 911 to complain about them, according to an arrest report.
The deputies apprehended Tillmon and charged him with misusing the emergency call system. He was booked into the Volusia County Branch Jail.
