Volusia County Fire Services will conduct prescribed burns.

Port Orange, Fla,  Residents in Port Orange  may smell and see smoke this week, but there’s no need to worry.
Volusia County Fire Services will conduct prescribed burns south of the Whispering Creek subdivision, which is on State Road 415, west of Port Orange.
The burns will cover about 50 acres.
The fires will be set depending on the weather
