Volusia beach parking cost may increase

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — This week, a decision could be made on whether to raise the cost of parking at Volusia County beaches.
Last month, Councilman Josh Wagner said he wanted to raise the cost from $5 to $30.
He said the hike would pay for lifeguards and beach maintenance.
