1 dead after motorcycle and car crash, car bursts into flames

One person was killed and two others injured after a car and motorcycle crashed Wednesday night in Daytona Beach.
It happened around 11:30 p.m. on Nova Road just north of Beville Road.
Daytona Beach Police said the car pulled out of a shopping center in front of the motorcycle and the crash caused the car to burst into flames. Fire crews were called to the scene and put out the flames as emergency responders helped the victims.
Investigators said the driver of the motorcycle was killed and the passenger critically injured. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries. Their names have not been released.
Nova Road was shut down for several hours while emergency crews cleared the scene.
