SOUTH DAYTONA, Fla. —A man who police call “South Daytona’s most dangerous fugitive” was taken into custody Friday by Daytona Beach Police Department officers.
Waymon Hall faces a host of charges, including methamphetamine possession and aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer.
Investigators said in a news release that Hall ran over a police officer and was arrested earlier in the year. He was arrested again months later on separate charges, but both times left the Volusia County Branch Jail on bond before making an appearance in court.
After this arrest, officers said the State Attorney’s Office was contacted so that a judge could sign a bond revocation order. Officer said Hall will likely remain in jail until a trial.
Officers said Hall was arrested on Adams Street in Daytona Beach where he “was once again dealing drugs and running from the police,” according to the release.
