The Port Orange Police Department Traffic Homicide Unit is currently investigating a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Dunlawton Avenue and Yorktown Blvd. The crash occurred at approximately 12:10 AM. Five total occupants were involved between the two vehicles. Two occupants were pronounced deceased at the scene. The other occupants were transported to Halifax Hospital with serious injuries. The identities of those involved remains under investigation and pending notification of next of kin. The traffic light is not operational at said intersection due to the vehicle crash. DOT has arrived on scene. Although a slight detour, Dunlawton Avenue and Yorktown Blvd remain open with traffic controlled by the Port Orange Police Department.

As additional information becomes available, it will be released. The crash remains open and is currently under investigation by Port Orange Traffic Homicide investigators.
