County Council is Investigating Itself after Parting Ways with Bus Bench Ad Company.

Federal agents were seen carrying boxes out of a Port Orange business Thursday morning after a three-year investigation into mortgage fraud

The council said it hired an attorney to look into the dealings with the advertising company.
Its operators are accused in a multimillion-dollar mortgage fraud scheme but the state attorney is also investigating Waverly for allegedly making illegal campaign contributions to local candidates, including some current county council members.
WESH 2 News was there in January when FBI agents raided Waverly Media in a Port Orange warehouse.
