You have been the online conscience for Port Orange for more years than you probably want to count and I have a question for you.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE PORT ORANGE COUNCIL ??
In the past few days I have detailed major problems in the Finance department that should lead to one or more terminations, and during those  same few days the Manager has appraised Council of — a major breach of personnel data, and one license in the IT department and three service contracts with FDOT that were not renewed because of employee neglect,  AND not one member of Council has said one word about any of it.
WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH THOSE 5 GENTLEMEN ?? 
Do they lack moral sensibility.   Are they unconcerned with the rightness or wrongness of actions.  Are they amoral, or are  they so shallow and self centered so as to not care about anything beyond their sound bites  ??
Hank, you have interviewed several City officials including Parker and Green and I am wondering if you will undertake one more interview.
Would you be willing to interview Councilman Ford who is one of the most thoughtful and well educated persons  I have had the pleasure to know,   And ask  him to explain what is wrong with a Council that has repeatedly failed to take meaningful action for nearly 3 years running in the face of  nonfeasance and misfeasance so egregious so as to have cost taxpayers tens of millions of dollars,  AND then press him equally hard to suggest what it will likely take cause Council to take meaningful action on a multitude of  issues that are demanding of Council attention.
Your thoughts and observations would be most appreciated.
