I am still unclear as to how many monthly bank reconciliations were not done by our finance department. I am also uncertain as to whether we are now regularly reconciling bank statements for this fiscal year. I did not submit a formal request for these items sooner, because others had already asked for this information and I was waiting for a copy of the response to these earlier request.
Since earlier requests for this information have not received a response, I would appreciate a statement from finance or your office that provides the date on which each month’s bank statement reconciliation was prepared (completed and approved) for FY 2013 and for the first 3 months of this current fiscal year.
Appreciate your assistance in this matter.
