Family holds candlelight vigil for missing Port Orange woman

PORT ORANGE, Fla. –
The family of a Port Orange woman who disappeared four years ago held a candlelight vigil Saturday night to remind the community they’re still waiting for her to come home.
Lauretta Rogers said her daughter, Laurel Rogers, then 28, was last seen at home four years ago and hasn’t been heard from since.
She said she believes her daughter, who was taking medication for Lupus, didn’t disappear on her own and is still working with the Port Orange Police Department to follow up on any leads.
Rogers told us the vigil at the Port Orange Amphitheater, located at 1099 City Center Circle, on Saturday night was not only to remember Laurel but to keep her in the minds of everyone in the community.
People are asked to call the Port Orange Police Department or their local authorities if they have any information regarding laurel Rogers’ disappearance.
Rogers’ mother said there is a $20,000 reward.
