Dianne is desperate. $100 reward for missing cat
Do we ever advertise lost cats in our local blogs?
Dianne is desperate. $100 for cat or his body. He is my tame feral. Foxy. Sweet gentle soul. He has a grieving “widow” and 3 “children” at home with us. They and we are all very worried. Spent $1200 to get this little family spayed, neutered, vaccinated, etc. Had ’em for 4 years. Foxy has just disappeared.
Thanks guys.

Dear Pat,
Thank you so much for this kind post. Unfortunately my cat has been found..but not alive. My sweet neighbor down the street, Nadine, came to my door to tell me she had seen my flyer after she had just turned Foxy’s body over to animal control today at 2 PM.
She said he just walked into her yard and died. He was not hit by a car. No marks on him. I hope he did not suffer. She thought maybe he was ill.
The last day I saw him he did not seem to feel well.
I will try to get him back for burial.
I want to thank all my neighbors who searched for Foxy on foot and in vehicles, expressed concern, sent emails and even said prayers for my cat’s safe return. Those people were Kim McNew, Margaret Patterson, Dru Urquhart, Kela Lindsay, Paul Rozar and Jack Wiles. Thank you to all of you for your kindness and efforts on Foxy’s behalf. He was a good boy and I will miss him very much.
I owe you all a debt of gratitude.

Ok..update on cat..just spoke to very nice animal control officer named James..he still has my cat’s body. Getting Foxy at 9 from POPD. Will bury Foxy in my yard in safe place with little stone to mark spot. Feel better knowing he is now at least home where he had so many happy days. Thanks again to everyone for their kindness. Taking pictures of all my other ferals now, Foxy’s kids, so should any of them go missing, I will have a pix ready to go for missing cat poster. Wish I had sprung into action the first day. Just assumed he would be back. Bad assumption. Might have been able to save my cat. Feel like I was remiss. Animal Control officer said there was no blood, no defensive wounds. Just dead. Rigor had set in. Ok..thanks again to this great community. Another good reason to walk your neighborhood and be good friends with your neighbors. They may help you find your pet or even your child. Thanks again to Nadine for her help. She would not take any reward.
