Lori: I did not meet or talk with any of the elected officials before the selection process. I did enter into a contract to purchase a home in Port Orange subject to me getting the City Manager job. The property could accommodate the animals my wife and I had acquired over the years. Unfortunately the contract was not closed because the structures (home) needed substantial repairs.
The Destin City Council has authorized the Mayor to contact me and enter into contract negotiations for me to be their City Manager.

Heard Mr. Kisela is leaving to return to Destin. Please let me know if this is accurate, and if it is due to the recent unauthorized purchases.
I also have the following questions:
1) Did Mr. Kisela meet with Mayor Green before the City Manager selection process began at City Hall?
2) Did Mrs. Kisela sign a purchase agreement to buy a house in Port Orange before the City Manager process began?
Thanks,
Lori Brown

Oh boy
Lori, You ask the question the wrong way. The selection process continued for a few months. Rephrase the question like — Did Kisela meet with the Mayor in private before the council voted on the appointment?
Oh sure.always purchase a house first and then hope you get the job. Give me a break.
Yes Margaret that is like a certain mayor. Always vote for the condominiums, park, marina, yacht club, and restaurant complex first and hope that friendly developer might just take care of you and your son later..
