Subject: Cypress Head Golf Course: Who is the current owner?
Before expenditures proceed in 2014 for Cypress Head golf course, it should be disclosed that this is property not owned by the CoPO.
It is a [land use agreement].
Pioneer Heights Inc, with whom the original agreement was signed, voluntarily dissolved as a Florida corporation in 2005.
Several years ago, James & James Development, a/k/a PAYTAS, had to be contacted in order to approve an amendment to the [land use agreement].
So ownership needs to be fully disclosed before any funds are expended in 2014.

Well Tom, it’s great to see yet another citizen looking out for our tax dollars. Thank you.
But if you listened to last nights meeting, the honorable Mayor tends to disagree. But then, we all know he doesn’t know much of the truth. He is of the opinion that the city owns it all.
Keep digging and bring out the real truth.

Tom Menocal is one of my top future picks for progressive leadership in open and transparent governance for the people as opposed to special interest in Port Orange. Lets here it for Tom Menocal. Power to the people!

you know people, that I have learned more about Port Orange from reading this blog and the comments than I have learned from communicating with the city council and watching the city council meetings for many years. Keep going Port Orange blogs and may the government never take this wonderful tool away from us.
