Parker should have been put on administrative leave when the whole water billing screw-up with Shelly and Barnhart came to light. Instead Green lied and Council took the cowardly way out by leaving Parker on the job to muddy the waters with one phony investigation after another. Shelly actually had the nerve to come back a year later and collect his 25 year recognition award from none other than the liar-in-chief.
Good to see Ted was on the job back then. To bad he wasn’t elected.

Allen Green, Ken Parker, and Riverwalk Gertie need to take responsibility and stop thr scapegoating!
Karma: What To Avoid and What To Expect.
    karma
I was selected for special training in 1999, by a group of educators based in Egypt. This training is considered to be the most ancient form of education a human can receive in written history, and lasted for eight years, 17 hours a day, 7 days a week. It was much akin to Navy Seals training, but more severe.
And, simply for that reason, I will refer to myself as a self-proclaimed expert in several areas of Metaphysics.
One of those areas has been Karma, and its effects.
Another one of those areas, is how Karma is accumulated.
To begin with, for those who wish to believe that Karma is a fable, be warned. Karma is a fact of the human existence, and needs to be addressed in a serious manner. Even the Roman Catholic Church offers confession to its followers as a means to avoid the thrashing whip of a karmic flushback.
That being said, the following article is an educated documentation of my observations of this important subject, which should be read slowly in order to fully understand the importance of a topic that affects each and every human being on the planet.
    ◾What To Avoid
I will isolate, for the sake of brevity, one massive element that collects Karma more quickly than any other activity.
    Secrets.
Damaging to the human body, a hidden secret will not only kill a human being over time, it will also create a metaphysical force of energy that surrounds an individual with a certain magnetism to negative energy. As stated above, the Roman Catholic Church offers “confession” to its followers as a means of relieving the body of the poisonous effects of deeply hidden secrets which may surround errors in judgement, illegal activity, immoral and unethical behavior, and anything else that may embed itself into the human consciousness. If not “confessed” in a timely manner, before the internal destruction begins, a secret can create a serious medical condition that can lead, ultimately, to death.
    Or, worse.
    ◾What To Expect
Karma, most often, attacks a human in their “soft spot.” Meaning, it locates whatever the human considers to be their most precious possession. This can be their pride, their dignity, their body image, their possessions, their career, their family, or whatever that human cherishes the most.
For instance, if a human prides themselves in mental abilities, they may find themselves with a disease that directly affects the mind.
If a human prides themselves in social approval, they will find themselves without an audience.
If a human exhibits a certain amount of physical vanity, they will experience a deterioration of their appearance.
I knew a man who used to emotionally abuse his wife in public. His voice was his weapon. He developed a cancer growth on his vocal cords, and never spoke again.
I knew a woman who prided herself in being a social butterfly. The karmic effects of her past discretions? She became the object of social bullying, and had to leave her job because of it.
◾What To Do To Avoid Karma
You are reading this article for a reason. You know what to do. Internally, you know why you’re worried about karma enough to fear it. And, you know how to fix this problem.
And, I highly recommend that you do, indeed, fix this problem…

Solution ? – impeachment or voluntary resignation of the Mayor ? Why has there not been any momentum toward this ?
After watching last nights council meeting, he continues to be an arrogant pompous ass who gives no answers and presents himself as a country hick and the self appointed Port Orange Historian.

I am just a dumb concerned citizen. It seems that many of the higher IQ bloggers feel they have “the dirt” on the Mayor. Yes, impeachment is probably highly unlikely but public pressure and citizens asking for his resignation is a start.
He’s a crusty old goat and will likely laugh it off. I also wish council members would grow a set and hold him accountable for his actions and demeanor. ie: peer pressure
We likely will have to endure two more year of his crap but it’s blatently clear that many are fed up with him and feel he should be pinpointed as a cause of many recent failures. Or not so recent as well.

I think to recall the Mayor and remove him from office a petition is needed with a certain number of names on the petition. Calling citizens who want to keep taxes down “bad citizens” might work, but the mayor would use as his defense that he misspoke or was a little under the weather that day. — hank
