I am pleased to provide you a copy of the 2014 Citizen Connection Statistics Report. This report will soon be available on the City’s website for public review as well. Developed in-house by the City’s Information Technology staff and embraced by Department users, the Citizen Connection system has already proven to be a powerful tool to help us improve service levels and increase citizen satisfaction. During the first 11 months of its existence, 2,447 issues have been addressed and completed through the Citizen Connection system. We believe this level of use will increase even higher in 2015 as more citizens become aware of this convenient and effective way to communicate their concerns to the City.
